The AI+Wellbeing Institute, located within the ICLA (International College of Liberal Arts in Japan) is a multi-disciplinary research institute working through the impact of AI upon well-being, and the opportunities for AI to extend well-being. The Institute leverages the VLL (Virtual Living Lab) - a collaboration between the University of Tokyo & Significance Systems. Established in 2019, the VLL applies unique Big Data & AI Analysis to narratives in society & culture. Earth.ai - this unique ‘telescope on our world’ explores how narratives dynamically shape our cultures, allowing for better policy & decision making across extensive fields.
